Bishop Abraham Memorial College has completed 41 years of dedicated service to the cause of higher education. The college started functioning on 28th June 1965 with 13 teaching & 7 non teaching staff and 371 students. It is owned by the Bishop Abraham Memorial Trust Association registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act (Act XII of 1955 as S No. 3 of 1965).
B.A.M college is named after Bishop Abraham Mar Thoma Metropolitan, that saintly soul who dedicated his life for the spread of the values of the Kingdom of God. For him life was to wear out than to rust out. The institution upholds these ideals and conveys the student community that devotion to truth and disciplined behaviour are the prime requirements for the successful life.
