M.E.S Mampad College is situated in Mampad village at an ideal, serene natural setting congenial for physical as well as psychological growth of the learners. Affiliated to the University of Calicut, with a rich and unique tradition, the college is unquestionably the best institution run by the Muslim Educational Society, the premier educational organisation of Muslims in Kerala.
Malappuram, which happened to be one of the most backward districts in Kerala owes much to this stalwart institution for the educational, social and cultural enlightenment of its people, irrespective of caste, creed and other social barriers. The College offers the choicest courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in Arts, Science, Commerce and modern job-oriented subjects.
The college was started in 1965 by the Eranad Educational Association and later adopted by the more capable Muslim Educational society in 1967.
