K.S. Institute of Technology was established in the year 1999. The college offers 4 - year Bachelor Degree courses in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering with an approved intake of 90, Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering with an approved intake of 60 each. K.S.I.T is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU) and are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
KSIT was the 90th Engineering College in Karnataka in 1999. In barely four years, it has moved up the ladder of excellence and today, is among the top most preferred engineering colleges in the state. Thanks to the commitment of the management, enthusiastic academic leadership of the Principal, dedication of the teaching faculty and sincerity of its students, this achievement has been quickly possible.
