Aditya Degree College was established under the auspices of the Bruhaspathi Educational Society, Srikakulam (Regd.No 728/1994) in the year 2000 under affiliation to the Andhra University. The Board of Management comprises a group of highly educated individuals, young and energetic, committed to the first objective of the society, i.e. to promote quality higher education in the district. Inspired by the academic spirit of the Founder Chairman Dr. S. Ramachandra Rao, M.D., the well-known cardiologist of the town and Former Professor of Medicine, Andhra Medical College Visakhapatnam, they are guided by a strong academic zeal, rather than economic weal.
