Educational Qualifications to join Veterinary University
Eligibility for the UG Courses offered by Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS):
1. Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) / Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc)
OC:
1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 140 out of 200 in the above-mentioned subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
BC:
1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 130 out of 200 in the above mentioned subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
MBC and De-notified Communities:
1. Should have scored 55% in Biology or 55% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 55% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 120 out of 200 in the above mentioned subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
SC/ST:
Minimum a pass in +2 is sufficient.
Bachelor of Technology (Fish Processing Technology) - B.Tech.(FPT)
OC:
1. Should have obtained 60% marks in Maths.
2. Should have obtained 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 140 out of 200 in these subjects.
BC:
1. Should have obtained 60% marks in Maths.
2. Should have obtained 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 130 out of 200 in these subjects.
MBC and De-notified Communities:
1. Should have obtained 55% marks in Maths.
2. Should have obtained 55% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 120 out of 200 in these subjects.
SC/ST:

3. Should have an aggregate of 130 out of 200 in these subjects.
