Eligible marks to join MBBS and BDS

Students should have studied the group comprising the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology and any other subject in +2. Students must have passed in the first attempt.

OC:
1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 140 out of 200 in the above-mentioned subjects

BC:
1. Should have scored 60% in Biology or 60% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 60% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 130 out of 200 in the above mentioned 3 subjects

MBC and Denotified Communities:
1. Should have scored 55% in Biology or 55% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 55% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 120 out of 200 in the above mentioned 3 subjects

SC/ST:
1. Should have scored 40% in Biology or 40% in Zoology and Botany together.
2. Should have scored 40% in Physics and Chemistry (in each subjects).
3. Should have an aggregate of 80 out of 200 in the above mentioned 3 subjects.

Though re-exams (Improvement Exams) are written to score better marks, the first attempt marks alone would be taken into consideration. Improvement marks will not be taken into consideration. Vocational group students are not eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS courses.
