Description :
Forensic Science owes its origin to those scientists who developed the principles and techniques required to identify and/or compare physical evidence and also to those who recognized the necessity of merging these principles into a coherent discipline that could be practically applied to a criminal justice system. Forensic Science is the application of science to those criminal and civil laws that are enforced by law enforcement agencies in the Criminal Justice System. It covers areas like Anthropology, chemistry, biology, physics, ballistics pathology and odontology which encompass important and relevant areas of knowledge and practice in law enforcement, each being an integral part of the Forensic Science. These areas are also useful in determining evidential value of crime scene and related reference.
