Shivaji University MCA Entrance Test-

Introduction
The Shivaji University at Kolhapur came into existence in 1962. It has more than 2,00000 students in 275 colleges affiliated to it. Shivaji University admits students to various post postgraduate programme of the University either through an entrance exam or merit in the qualifying examination. For getting admission to the MCA Course students need to pass the Shivaji University MCA Entrance exam. However the MCA Entrance test is not exclusively held and students can apply to different courses in the same application form.

Obtaining the Shivaji University Prospectus:

The prospectus for the Shivaji University MCA Entrance exam can be obtained against a cash payment of Rs. 100/- from the University. It can also be obtained by sending a demand draft of the same amount drawn in favor of the "Finance and Account Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur".

Submitting the Application Form:

Duly filled application forms along with a demand draft of Rs. 300 (Rs. 200/- as entrance examination fee and Rs 100 as cost of prospectus) drawn in favor of the "Finance and Account Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur" should reach the Inward section, Room No. 136, Shivaji University Kolhapur-416004 on or before 16th April (21st April with a late fee of Rs.100 and 25th April with an additional fee of Rs. 500/-) 2007.

Test Centres:

The Shivaji University MCA entrance Exam will be held at Kolhapur (Shivaji University), Satara (Yashyanto Rao Chavan Institute of Science), Sangli (Smt. Kasturbai Walchand College of Arts & Science), Solapur (Sangmeshwar College), Nagpur (Department of Botany, Nagpur University), Mumbai (Modern College, Navi Mumbai), Bangalore (Department of Commerce Central College Campus), Delhi (Department of Biotechnology, J.N.U.) and Goa (Dnyan Prasarak Mandal's College of Arts Commerce & Science, Bardesh).
