Honors Programmes ( 3 year Programmes): LLB
Post Graduation Programmes: ( 2 year Programmes) LLM
Eligibility: Eligibility criteria towards 5 year honours programme is minimum pass in plus two with 70 % of marks.
For 3 year honours programme is a minimum pass in UG with 60% marks
SC, ST candidates need to obtain 60% and 55% respectively. Should have passed UG with minimum of 45%.
Law colleges: Functioning under the University are Government law colleges situated in Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Kovai, Tirunelveli, Chengalpat, Vellore, Villupuram, Dharmapuri, Ramanathapuram. And private law colleges such as Central Law College, Salem and Saraswathi Law College, Dindivanum.
This university conducts single window counseling towards admission to 3 year LLB programmes and 5 year BA. LLB programs.
Programmes at Law colleges: 5 year BA.LLB and 3 year LLB courses.

Eligibility for law colleges: For 5 year integrated programmes need to get 45% in plus two and for 3 year programmes need to get 45% in UG studies. For SC/ ST candidates minimum of 40% mark is sufficient.
