Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an important entrance examination for those willing to seek admission across the country to pursue law studies.

Admission to law studies across the nation in 22 national university and other educational institutions is purely based on the scores obtained in CLAT.

Students willing take up law studies is a must to clear CLAT UG and then those willing to pursue law as Post Graduation studies are suppose to clear CLAT PG.

Courses or  Progammes: LLB and LLM are the course offered towards law studies.

Eligibility: To apply for LLB, students should have obtained 45% in the plus two common examination. Its a must to have cleared BL or LLB with 50% marks to get admission into LLM. SC/ST students need to get a score of 40 % to join in UG, whereas to join in PG proggrammes they just need to get 45%.

There is no age limit to join in these courses.       

Exam process: Questions are asked to test students English Comprehension, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Legal aptitude and Logical Reasoning.

CLAT -UG  comprises of objective type questions for 150 marks. Objective type questions are asked for totally 100 marks towards getting admission in CLAT PG.

Damodram Sanjeevaya National Law University- Visakhapatnam,  Tamil Nadu Natioanl Law University Trichy, Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai.

Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur, Maharashtra National Law University Aurangabad, Himachal Pradesh National Law University- Shimla, Dharasashtra Nqational Law University Jabalpur and Dr BR Abmbekar National Law University, Sonipet.
