Students' admission to various courses offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University is carried out based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination.  

The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE � 2021) for admission to various courses offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University for the academic year 2021-22 is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).  

Departments : School of Arts & Aesthetics, School of Biotechnology, School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, School of Computer and Systems Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Environmental Sciences, School of International Studies, School of Language Literature and Culture Studies, School of Life Sciences, Atal Bihari Vajpayee  School of Management and Entrepreneurship, School of Physical Sciences, School of Sanskrit and Indic Studies, School of Social Sciences, Centre for the Study of Law and Governance, Special Centre for Disaster Research, Special Centre for E-Learning, Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, Special Centre for Nanoscience, Special Centre for National Security Studies, Special Centre for Systems Medicine, Special Centre for the Study of North East India.

Students� admission to UG, PG and Research Programmes at these schools are based on this entrance examination only.

Exam details:  Applying to this examination is carried out only through online. This computer based examination consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) without any negative marking for wrong answers. Admission is also based on reservations.

Exam centres: This exam is conducted in 116 cities/ towns across the nation. Examination centres would operate in Chennai, Kovai, Madurai and Trichy in Tamil Nadu; and in Pondicherry too.
