Medical Entrance Examination in Karnataka, CET Karnataka-
Eligibility:
For Medical/Dental/Ayurveda/Homoeopathy/Unani/Naturopathy & Yoga courses the Candidate must have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC/ 12th Std. Or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with English as one of the languages of study and obtained at least 50% in the PCB group provided that for Dental course, the candidate must also have secured 40% in English.
Pattern of Test:
A student should compulsorily appear for PCB for MBBS/BDS courses in the Common Entrance Test. The question papers are mostly based on the I and II PUC syllabi prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State.
Application Procedure:
Application form & information Brochure is supplied through the schools and colleges in which the candidate studied or appeared for the 12th Std. Or 2nd PUC examination upon submission of a demand draft for requisite amount to the Principals in advance, drawn in favor of The Special Officer, CET Cell, Bangalore payable at Bangalore.
