Set up in 1986, NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in the country.
With several campuses across the country this educational institution has been in the forefront of providing professional human resources to the textile and apparel industry.
NIFT currently has 17 campuses spread across the country.
Its primary objective is to bring out new creations in the sphere of clothing design, facilitate business development and to provide quality education to students.

Eligibility:
UG: To be eligible to apply, the maximum age of the candidate should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission.
To join UG programs, the applicant should have studied Physics as well as Mathematics in plus two. Those having completed 3 or 4 year Diploma courses recognised by AICTE can also apply. To get admission to PG programs must have completed any UG degree. However, to join M.F.Tech it is a must to have studied B.F.Tech or BE or B,Tech.
Admission process: Entrance exam is being conduct to get admission in UG and PG programmes. Students admission is carried out through General Ability Test and interview. NRI students can also apply.
