Anna University offers part time BE program for youngsters who are working.

This self-financed program is offered at College of Engineering, Gundy and Madras Institute of Technology functioning under ambit of Anna University.

Programs offered at College of Engineering, Guindy is Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronic and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Madras Institute of Technology.

Duration of the program: 3 � years comprising 7 semesters.

Class hours: Physical classes will be held during week days from 6:15 PM to 9:15 PM

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed any one of the 3 years Diploma Course in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu from an AICTE approved institution or its equivalent. Candidates should have passed the diploma examination in the relevant branch of specialization at least two years before the last date prescribed for the Registration of Application. Candidates should be working in a place within a distance of 120 km from the college to which he/she seeks admission so as to enable him/her to attend the classes regularly by 6.15 p.m. and the place of working should be in Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit: There is no fixed age limit for part time BE program.
