PG scholarship programme at University of Cyprus!- 25-Feb-2022
The department of electrical and computer engineering of the University of Cyprus, in collaboration with the Kios Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence and Imperial College London, is accepting applications for the MSc programme in intelligent critical infrastructure systems.
Students accepted to the programme will have the opportunity to apply for part-time or full-time employment at the Kios Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence, the largest research and innovation centre in Cyprus on information and communication technologies.
Objective: The main purpose is to tackle challenging problems in modern cyber-physical systems, with emphasis on monitoring, control, management and security in critical infrastructure systems. These systems include electric power and energy systems, water distribution networks, telecommunication networks, transportation systems, and emergency response systems.
Scope of the scholarship: Applicants accepted to the programme, to cover 50-100 per cent of their tuition fees. Apart from the scholarship, those students getting employment are likely to get 750 to 1000 Euros per month.
Duration: The duration of the programme is 3 semesters (1.5 years) but it can be completed part-time as well (6 semesters 3 years).
Total no of seats: 5
Educational qualification: The candidate ought to be graduate in Engineering or any other science stream.
