Indian Statistical Institute which is shortly called ISI is an institute established by the central government to provide quality education in statistical studies.
Started in the year 1936, Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) is a higher education and research institute which is recognized as an Institute of
National Importance by the 1959 act of the Indian parliament. This institute, apart from providing quality statistical studies, is highly recognized to offer courses in Mathematics, Quantitative Economics and Computer Science.
With Kolkata as its headquarters, ISI has training centres in Bangalore, New Delhi, Chennai and Tezpur. Further, it has a branch in Jharkhand too.

Scholarship: Depending upon the qualification of the admitted students, scholarship amount of between Rs 5000 to Rs 35,000 is provided.
Eligibility: Must have completed 12th to join UG programmes. To join PG & PG Diploma programmes, its a must to have completed
related studies at the UG level.
