Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri National Sanskrit University, New Delhi has announced the admission of students for B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. courses.
The University is recognized as a Central University under a special law passed by the Parliament.
Courses:
Siksha Shastri - B.Ed.,
Siksha Acharya - M.Ed.,
Vidyavarithi - Ph.D., Traditional Courses, Education and Yoga
Qualifications:
To carry out B.Ed., studies must have passed Shastri - BA, Sanskrit or Acharya - MA, Sanskrit with at least 50% marks. Must be minimum 20 years of age.
For M.Ed., course, must have passed Siksha Shastri-BA, Sanskrit and Siksha Shastri-B.Ed with minimum of 50% marks. Must be minimum 22 years of age.
In order to pursue Ph.D. studies must have completed MA in the relative studies with at least 55 percent marks.
SC, ST, and OBC category students are given an exemption of 5 percent marks in all courses.
Selection Method:
Admission is based on the marks obtained by the students in the special entrance examination conducted by the University. Students who have passed the JRF, Ph.D., are exempted from writing the entrance exam. Seats are allocated based on the reservation policy of the Central Government.
