More and more Indian students want to study in Australia as it offers world-class education, accreditation standards for educational institutions, quality curriculum, excellent support for international students, employment opportunities after studies and a sound employment rate.
28,000 students:
About 28,785 Indian students had applied for visas particularly, from November 22, 2021 to March 18, 2022. The relationship between India and Australia has been good over the years. The rapport, economic cooperation and education ties between Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is highly impressive. It is noteworthy that at a recent summit the two Prime Ministers recognized various aspects of the online and bilateral mutual learning system, including joint degrees.
Special Concessions:
The Australian Government offers a variety of new visa support programs for international students and graduates. These include waivers in international student visa fees and Covid visa fee; more time to submit English language test scores and health checkup report; a temporary graduate visa and a visa extension for employment in Australia.
Visa concessions:
International students having been vaccinated completely can get their visa fee refunded from Australia. Those having obtained student visas after February 1, 2020, and are unable to complete their studies within the visa period due to the impact of Covid can also get a refund on student visa application fee. For those who missed the study period due to corona the temporary graduate visa period will be extended.
Extension of working hours:
No restrictions on working hours for international students doing part-time jobs in Australia. At the same time, students must meet required attendance and academic needs.
