LPU management course gets accreditation from US- 27-Jun-2014
Jalandhar: Board of Commissioners of Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), USA, has awarded Lovely Professional University with prestigious accreditation of its business programs.
In India less than five B-schools have been accredited by ACBSP. Such an accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes at LPU meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.
Announcing about this coveted accreditation, Director of Accreditation Mr Steve Parscale of ACBSP said: “Lovely Professional University has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process. This accreditation is evidence that LPU is committed to providing the highest quality business education for their students.”
LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal said; “I am very happy that our B-School is scaled to new global heights as it gets ACBSP prestigious endorsement to be of the global standards. This is all due to the hard and varied works done at the school to earn this accreditation, and we all deserve to rejoice on this rare achievement.”
He added that this accreditation will definitely help LPU’s business school students pursuing MBA, BBA and other allied business program to be more acceptable globally for both higher education and employment.
Illustrative, the mission of ACBSP is to promote continuous improvement and recognize excellence in the accreditation of business education programs around the world. ACBSP is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in USA as a specialized accreditation agency for business education.
