Japanese Government Scholarship !- 26-May-2022
The Government of Japan, through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, MEXT, offers scholarships to international students seeking to study at Japanese universities.
The Union Ministry of Education, GOI has announced that eligible Indian students can apply for the scholarship scheme. However, the Ministry of Education will not interfere in the selection process of the scheme. Students must directly apply through the official Japanese Scholarship website.
Courses:
Various course included for the scholarship are Science, Electrical and Electronic Studies, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Chemical courses, Agriculture, Medicine, Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Politics, Sociology, Literature, History, Japanese Language, Economics, Business Administration.
Qualifications:
Qualifications vary depending on the course. Must have been born on or after April 2, 1998. Students should be interested in learning Japanese. It is important to have a good understanding of Japan before and during the visit to Japan.
In addition, they must have the interest and ability to learn Japanese according to the prescribed curriculum. Physical fitness is also seen as one of the key aspects. Therefore, physical and mental fitness should be obtained from a qualified physician.
Scholarship Details:
The Japanese government takes care of the transportation costs, entrance fees, and university tuition fees for selected students. In addition, about 71, 000 INR is provided every month. The scholarship will be given for 5 years from April 2023 to March 2028.
This includes a one-year preparation period for learning Japanese language. Scholarships for Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and 6 year Pharmacy courses will be offered 7 years i.e up to March 2030.
