International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) invites candidates, to pursue research in various emerging areas related to advanced materials (such as Electroplated Coatings, Clean Energy Materials,Solid State Battery Technology, Biodegradable Alloys, Transparent Conductors, Ceramic Materials, PEM Fuel Cells etc.).

The selected candidates shall be awarded Research Associate (RA)/Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)/ Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) depending upon their qualifications, experience etc.

Based on the performance of the candidates, the selected candidates shall also be encouraged to register for a Ph.D. Program with one of the reputed Institutes (IITs/NITs)/Central University of Hyderabad with which ARCI has a tie-up.

Selection process for JRF/SRF: will be based on Personal Interview for candidates having valid GATE/NET Score Card. Candidates without GATE/NET, will be selected on merit basis through a Competitive Written

Examination to be conducted by ARCI and followed by Personal Interview.

Details of Position:-

Research Associate:

Eligiblity:Ph.D. or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after M.E./ M.Tech. with atleast one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Experience: Shall have carried out Ph.D. research work or shall have experience in the areas of advanced materials relevant to the time-bound sponsored projects: (i) Alkaline Fuel Cells/PEM Fuel Cells. (ii) Solid State Lithium Batteries (iii) Extractive or Physical Metallurgy

Stipend amount: Rs, 47,000/49,000 54,000 + HRA per month.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF):

Eligiblity: First class B.E./ B.Tech./ M.E./ M.Tech. or equivalent in Metallurgy or Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Ceramics/Chemical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Nano Technology

Or

First Class M.Sc. or equivalent in Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/ Nano Science/Physical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry

Upper Age Limit: 28 years

Stipend amount: Rs, 31,000 + HRA per month.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF):

Eligiblity: Qualification as prescribed for JRF (as stated above) with 2 years Research experience.

Upper Age Limit: 32 years

Stipend amount: Rs. 35,000/-+ HRA per month.
