Curriculum: In the first two year of the 10 semesters B.S. - M.S. course fundamental science is taught. Then, in the third and fourth year, students can opt any subject in science as their major. Throughout the fifth year students are required to engage in full-time research in science and technology.  

Educational Qualification: Must have passed with at least 60% marks in Plus 2 with Science as main subject. SC, ST, differently abled students with 55 percent marks is sufficient.

Admission Procedure: Admissions are carried based on scores obtained in a national level science Scholarship test known as KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) conducted by Central Department of Science and Technology or JEE, or IISER Aptitude Test (IAT).
