Now, students can apply for admission to MBBS and BDS courses offered in medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility:  Must have cleared NEET UG 2023 examination.

Age Limit: Must be 17 years of age as of the date of admission or 31st December 2023.

Educational institutions: 

All Medical Colleges Affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University!

85 percent admission seats in government medical colleges and dental colleges

 All seats in self-financed medical and dental colleges in Tamil Nadu

ESIC, Medical College, KK Nagar, Chennai.

All approved medical seats including 30 percent of seats in Vellore Christian Medical College are filled through Tamil Nadu Medical Counselling.

Note: These do not include admission seats for medical courses offered in affiliated universities in Tamil Nadu.

Counseling Process: Counselling is conducted separately for Tamil Nadu government-reserved seats and separately for management-reserved seats in private colleges. Students who wish to participate in both are required to apply separately.

For admission under special category athletes should apply directly to the Directorate of Medical Education, Kilpauk, Chennai.
