Chennai: Most eager awaited Budget 2015 has really brought out lots of good and bad.
Goods are those that many more educational institutions are going to come up
Bad is that expenses to be made on education has made a significant decline.
Higher education has been allotted Rs 27,000.26 crore 2015-2016.
For the school education from the centre Rs 6,153.00 Crore have been allotted
Science and Technology has seen marginal increase to Rs 3835.00 crores
The new manthra of Modi, Skill Development has received Rs 1,543.66 crore.
Among the goods a national skill mission to consolidate skill initiatives spread across several ministries to be launched; enhance the employability of rural youth; A specialized Authority to administer and monitor the front-end all scholarship as well Educational Loan Schemes; An IIT to be set up in Karnataka: Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad to be upgraded in to a full-fledged IIT; New All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) to be set up in J&K, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Assam. Another AIIMS like institutions to be set up in Bihar: A post graduate institute of Horticulture Research & Education is to be set up in Amritsar; 3 new National Institute of Pharmaceuticals Education and Research in Maharashtra, Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh; and one institute of Science and Education research is to be set up in Nagaland & Orisssa
In the state expenses to be made for school education is Rs 35,781.50 crore; higher euducatiom gets 1060.00 crore:;Youth and Sports get 119.79 crores
