UCEED is 'Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design,' a vital step towards securing admission in the undergraduate design programs offered by premier central government institutes in India.


Courses Offered: Students who aspire to pursue a Bachelor of Design (B.D.) can gain entry into renowned institutions like IIT-Mumbai, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Guwahati, IIT-Hyderabad, and IIITDM, among others. Additionally, many other educational institutions consider UCEED scores for admissions.


Eligibility: Prospective candidates should have completed their 12th standard in 2023 or be scheduled to appear for the 12th board exams in 2024. UCEED welcomes students from diverse academic backgrounds, including Science, Commerce, and Arts streams.


Age Criteria: Applicants should be born on or after October 1, 1999. However, for SC, ST, and PWD students, the birthdate limit is extended to October 1, 1994.


Exam Structure: The UCEED exam consists of two sections, with a total score of 300 marks. All questions are presented in English, and all questions must be answered. Candidates have a three-hour time frame to complete the exam.


Attempt Limits: Each student is allowed a maximum of two attempts to take the UCEED exam. Overseas Indians and foreign nationals are also eligible to apply.

Application Deadline:The last date to submit your application is October 31.


Exam Date: The UCEED 2024 exam is scheduled for January 21, 2024.
