The US Department of Educational and Cultural Affairs is pleased to announce the Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (FTEA) fellowship for Indian school teachers.
Overview
Named in honor of Senator J. William Fulbright, the Fulbright Awards aim to foster mutual understanding between the United States and other nations. The Fulbright FTEA program offers 180 school teachers from 62 countries a unique opportunity to enhance their subject expertise, refine teaching skills, and deepen their understanding of the United States.
Fellowship Details
Selected teachers will have the opportunity to participate in a six-week professional development program in the United States, scheduled for either January 2025 or September 2025. The program features educational seminars covering innovative teaching methods, student-centered learning approaches, content-based instruction, lesson planning, and instructional technology training. Intensive English language instruction will be provided for teachers requiring additional language support.
