The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) stands as the gateway for students aspiring to secure admissions into various esteemed educational institutions nationwide, particularly within government universities.

Administered separately for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, these examinations are orchestrated by the National Testing Agency (NTA), an entity established by the Central Government.

Introduction: CUET-UG streamlines the admission process for undergraduate degree programs across an array of participating institutions, including Central Universities, State Universities, virtual, and private universities. By offering a single-window system, CUET ensures a seamless pathway for aspiring students.

Eligibility: Prospective candidates who have completed their 12th standard or equivalent qualifications, or those awaiting results, are eligible to apply, with no age restrictions imposed.

Selection Process: CUET presents a flexible examination format, accommodating both computer-based tests (CBT) and traditional pen-and-paper formats. For subjects witnessing a high influx of registrations, the exam adopts the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) format, while others are facilitated through computer-based testing.

Syllabus: The comprehensive syllabus of CUET-UG encompasses language courses, departmental subjects, and a general examination segment. The latter assesses candidates on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, as well as Logical and Analytical Reasoning, all framed within the multiple-choice question format.

Language of Examination: To ensure inclusivity, CUET-UG is conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

Examination Centers: CUET examinations are hosted across 380 cities nationwide, with an additional presence in 26 cities abroad, offering candidates a wide array of accessible locations for their assessments.

Application Deadline: March 26.

Exam Dates: May 15 to May 31.
