Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu presented awards to three litterateurs on the occaison of 120th birth anniversary of eminent Telugu writer, poet and thinker Gurram Jashua.
The recipients are: Yandluri Sudhakar, Sikhamani and Sarat Jyotna, all from Telugu University. Naidu honoured them with Rs 50,000 in cash and a memento each.
The award function was organised here as part of celebrations of 120th birth anniversary of Jashua, a Padma Bhushan awardee.
Speaking on the occasion, Naidu announced that an institution would be set up in the memory of Jashua in the State.
