Chennai: In its endeavor to inspire future engineers and scientists to be science and technology leaders, TimesWorld in association with AICRA and eDC IIT- Delhi organized a workshop on robotics to prepare themselves for ‘Technoxian 2016 State Level Championship ‘at Velammal International School, Tamilnadu.
More than 400 students participated in the workshop where they were trained to make different robotics projects for which they have been awarded certificates from All India Council for Robotics & Automation.
The workshop focused on the changing technological environment and the rising demand of technology.
It also guided the students about the upcoming event ‘International Robotic League’, where around 1000,000 students from 5000+ schools and colleges across the nation will be participating. The students will be participating in various competitions/activities to showcase their creativity and innovations in the field of robotics & automation, Android, Quad/UAV etc.
There will be three different levels of competitions in Technoxian 2016.
1st is International Robotics League (IRL) wherein teams from Colleges/Schools would be competing at Zonal level championship and further selected teams will be invited for National and International Level competitions.
