Incompetent to Face Questions from Students cannot be a Teacher-

Sri. Nanjil Nadan, the celebrated writer, while addressing the gathering at the special function {Mupperum Vizha} held at the Government Girls Teacher Training Institute, Kovai, said-

Due to sweeping cultural changes, there is an increase in  Abortion rates and Divorces at an early age in the cities. In Bangalore people working in the field of  Information Technology are glued to their Computers, with the result that they have to encounter many intellectual and emotional problems.  If this situation prolongs, there will be a bigger demand for Psychiatrists and Psychologists.

The human resource of the brain is vast. But,  most of us use only 3-5 % of brain resource. The students, to improve their knowledge, should read extra books besides their text books.

The American system of Education has significantly changed, but the Indian educational system remains unchanged since 1960.

Teachers in India are delegated to take census, ration card statistics and such other jobs. None has raised up this issue.   Teachers should teach discipline to the students. The teachers, who are not prepared to face students when they raise questions, are incompetent to be a teacher.
