Kovai institute to train CODISSIA members- 27-Feb-2016
Kovai: Kovai based Sri Ramakrishna Advanced Training Institute, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding with CODISSIA.
This MoU is mainly focusing on skill development and enhancement in the fields of welding and plumbing for the employees of member industries of Codissia.
Sri Ramakrishna Advanced Training Institute would deliver custom design training programmes for the benefit of Codissia members.
Extensive research collaboration is also planned related to engineering and technology for various projects between SRATI and Codissia.
The Institute would also contribute towards industrial safety through the training programmes and articles to be published in Codissia bulletin. The training institute and Codissia would jointly participate in development of new and advanced technology in the related fields of welding and plumbing.
Sri Ramakrishna Advanced Training Institute has established unique facilities both in welding and plumbing covering shielded metal arc welding, gas welding, spot welding with facilities like – Manifold gas piping system and fume extraction system. It is also a recognized centre by Tamil Nadu skill Development Corporation.
CODISSIA and Sri Ramakrishna Hospital have signed a MoU for the benefit of treating all Codissia member industries and their employees and families at a concessional rate for treatment in Sri Ramakrishna Hospital.
This MoU was signed by Sri. R. Vijayakumhar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust and Sri E. K. Ponnuswamy, President Codissia, on 26th February 2016 at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College premises. All the office bearers of Codissia, Mr. D Lakshminarayanasamy, Joint Managing Trustee of the Trust, Principal of the college Dr NR Alamelu and Director of the Institute Mr. Prasad, Codissia members were present during the ceremony.
