CSI regional level student convention concludes - 5-Mar-2016

Kovai: Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College hosted the Computer society of India (CSI) regional level student convention 2016 on 4th and 5th March.

The student branch has received “largest student branch” award for the year 2013-14 and “longest continuous SBC” award for the year 2014-15. More than 40 events have been organized in the past 3 years.

Colleges from Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar and all over TamilNadu were invited.

Totally, there were 536 participants for the regional convention held on 4th and 5th March 2016 at the campus.

Many events and competitions such as paper/project presentation, street coding, treasure hunt, best manager, quiz, crazy jockey, gaming, Linux master, web designing and fun events were held.

The chief guest of the convention was Mr. S.Vishnu Potty, vice president and head of Coimbatore operations Cognizant Technology solutions.
