Occupational Therapy is a Para-Medical course that provides excellent job opportunities. However, it doesnt provide a good pay package. Its good to get jobs in Government Hospitals and Medical Institutes.
It is advisable to do post graduation in Occupation Therapy or Health Administration after the completion of under graduation. It is better to study MOT (Master of Occupational Therapy)
If you get enough experience after the completion of this study, you can open a clinic of your own. But, if you desire to have a bright future, it is good to complete Health or Hospital Management. Those who have completed this study and possess experience, they are taken-up in companies like Apollo, Max, Fortis and TATA.
TATA Institute of Social Service, Mumbai and Apollo Institute of Hospital administration, Hyderabad are offering Hospital Administration studies in PG. It is enough to have scored 50% in UG studies. Educational institutions like Symbiosis Center of Health Care, Pune and Indian Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur are offering PG Diploma in Health care or Hospital administration. It is enough to have completed UG studies in any discipline.
