Dual degree from Delhi university- 21-Nov-2009
Delhi University in association with few educational institutions of France has introduced Dual degree system in the field of nuclear physics.
Introduced in the last year the dual degree, Nuclear Science and technology were formed with the combination of subjects like Physics and Astrophysics.
To implement this, the Delhi University has tied up with seven education institutions of France. Those joining three year M.Tech course at Delhi University will do their third and fourth semester in an educational institution in Paris. There, they will obtain a M.Tech degree in nuclear science.
After which, they will continue their fifth and sixth semester in Delhi. They would be provided with an M.Tech degree here in Delhi too. This is the first time that an educational institution is working in alliance with another educational institution for providing dual degree.

The Delhi University announced that the expansion activities on dual degree would be totally based on response for the course. Last year, 12 M.Tech students from Delhi University were sent to France for dual degrees studies. Those students who go to France for their nuclear science degree are provided training in areas like.
