Human Resource experts are incessantly involved in carrying out research work on the opportunities that are likely to come up in the various industries.

Gopala Krishnan, President, Infosys expressed his view that this field is likely to get several opening in the next 20 to 30 years.

He envisages that the back office activities which are known as BPO, outsourcing activities are likely to decline in our country, as there would be an increase in usage of smart computers and the automation of most offices would be completed in the next 20 to 30 years.

Similarly, most of the companies that now employ 300 persons, in six months time would prefer to have only 100 employees. Since, currently most of the works are managed electronically, slowly the need for manpower would reduce drastically. Due to this change in working conditions the need for human resources are slowly reducing in countries like India.

In India, the significant feature is that about 10-lakh individuals work in BPO related jobs. As the involvement of electronic media in the field of media has increased, gradually, the job opportunities in print media are gradually coming down.

Therefore, the BPO industry in India is trying to bring out some changes with lot of speculations .
