Chennai: Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Bhupat & Jyoti Mehta School of Biosciences, in association with Mehta Family Foundation (Houston, USA) and IIT Madras Office of International & Alumni Relations, is organizing the 1st PAN IIT Biotechnology Meet during 16th - 18th October 2016 at GRT Nature Trail Hotel, Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu.
It is the first attempt to bring eminent researchers, faculties and scientists from various IITs and IISc, as well as from biotech companies on one platform to build cohesiveness amongst the research fraternity to achieve significant outcomes.
The Meet is being organized by Department of Biotechnology, Bhupat and Jyoti Mehta School of Biosciences, Indian institute of Technology Madras, and is being sponsored by the Mehta Family Foundation.
Dr. Rama S Verma, Professor, Department of Biotechnology at IIT Madras, is the Organizing Secretary. The Chief Guest for the Meet is V. Nagaraja, President, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientificand Professor, Department of Microbiology & Cell Biology, IISc Bangalore.

The Meet focuses on providing an ideal platform for sharing innovative ideas in pursuit of research excellence in the field of Biotechnology.
