In this anxiety-ridden situation on account of the agreement between America and India, news come out about the studies related to Nuclear Engineering.
IIT, Chennai has decided to begin new studies in the field of Nuclear Engineering from 2009-2010. Though efforts were taken to start it in 2008 itself, it has been postponed and the possibility of activating this course seems to be higher only in 2009.
As this is related to many branches of studies, it is to be studied as per advice and in collaboration with the Mechanical, Chemical and the Physics Departments of IIT. With regards to this study, Scientists from Homi Baba Institute would be working along with the IIT, Chennai. A Special mention is that this course is offered at IIT,Kanpur.
