CBI takes care of the entire Indian operation of the International investigations agency known as Interpol. CBI collects information about the criminals who have links in India. It is a good choice. These are the categories of the jobs available:
Special Director(Additional Director)
Joint Director
Deputy Inspector of Police
Deputy Superintendent of Police
Inspector
Sub- Inspector
Asst. Sub- inspector
Head Constable
Constable.
There are two ways to enter CBI.
By becoming an IPS officer after successfully completing Civil service examination conducted by UPSC is one way. On passing the examination, the Central Government itself will send you on deputation.
Another way is to apply when CBI makes an announcement to appear for the examination and join as Sub-Inspector. This examination is conducted by SSC.
