US Consulate launches video contest on environmental protection - 11-Apr-2017
Chennai: To commemorate Earth Day 2017, the U.S. Consulate General Chennai is announcing "Care, Conserve, Capture" a short video contest.
Launched on Monday, April 3, the contest will end on Saturday, April 22, 2017.
Participants need to submit original, high-quality video clips (duration: 60 to 90 seconds) capturing positive, inspirational and educational stories on environmental protection and sustenance in Chennai.
The competition is open to the public ages 18 years and above.
Participants can form teams of maximum 3 members to submit a maximum of up to 2 entries per team.
Environmental themes may include (but not limited to) renewable/alternate Energy, environmental literacy, greening initiatives, water and waterbodies, and disaster management.
The top three entries – selected by an eminent jury comprising environmental leaders, and documentary filmmakers – will be feted in a grand finale screening event and will receive exciting prizes.
