If you dislike doing office work and if your tendency is to cruise round the world, then Merchant Navy is the suitable job. However, you must be prepared to stay away from home for a long time. The most important job of the Merchant Navy is to transport cargo from one port to another.
It is possible to join Merchant Navy after the completion of Plus 2 or a degree. To join after plus 2, you must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. To join after the completion of Degree, you must study Nautical Science degree course. This profession fetches you a very good salary.
The persons who have completed B.E. Marine Engineering and Mechanical Engineering can easily obtain jobs in the Merchant Navy.
