NSS volunteers of TNAU organize awareness on garbage management - 17-Jul-2018
Chennai: An awareness rally on Management of Degradable and Non-degradable Garbage was organized under "Swatch Bharat Summer Internship Programme, 2018" at Seeranayakkanpalayam on 14-7-2018 by the NSS volunteers of AC&RI, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore.
About 100 NSS volunteers participated and raised slogans on the necessity and importance of environmental safety and cleanliness with awareness placards.
Mr. K.V Thirumal, Sanitary Officer narrated the objectives and importance of Swatch Bharat Scheme.
After the rally, NSS volunteers removed the plastic wastes and cleaned the playground of Seeranaickenpalayam village.
