Once there was a man who made his living selling balloons. He sold balloons of various colors. In the course of the day when his business became dull, he used to release the helium-filled balloons into the air, when the children saw those splendid balloons, they would come to him and his business would shoot up. Every now and then, he would release a balloon whenever his sales slowed down.
One day while he was doing some brisk business, a little boy asked him, "If you release a black balloon, would that also fly as like red does?. Inspired by the question, the man replied, "Child, its not the color of the balloon, its actually whats inside which make it go up". Same principle applies in our lives too.
A systematic study carried out at Oxford University revealed that when a person gets a job or a promotion, 85% of the time it is because of his/her attitude, and only 15% of the time of intelligence and knowledge of his related topics.
Attitude is the most important and invaluable term in English language which can be applied to every part, every sphere of life, including personal and professional life.
The foundation of success, regardless of the chosen field, is attitude.
