Biz school designed to meet industry and society needs- 13-Feb-2010
Coimbatore: To meet the increasing industry requirements, a leading industrial group in the city today announced setting up of a Business school, which would offer Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Banking and Insurance).
The Suguna Spark Business School would offer multi-specialistion in various functional areas like finance, HR, production, marketing, systems and industry sectors, V Lakshminarayanasamy, Managing Director of Suguna Group of Industries, which joined hands with the Spark Charitable Trust to set up the school, told reporters here today.
The school, with intake of 60 for each course, has already signed MOUs with Consultancy Development Centre (CDC), a Government of India Organisation, to start certificate courses on 'technical consulting' and to take up 'management consulting' in the city.
It has also signed MOU with Ma Foi,India's largest HR services company, to carry out assessment, training and placing students of the school, Lakshminarayanasamy said.
