Admission to Ph.D at Periyar University-
Applications are invited for the admission to Ph.D Programmes at Periyar University
Eligibility:
Ph.D Full time: Master Degree with not less than 55% of marks or an equivalent grade. Candidates appearing for final semester/year examinations can also apply provided they should satisfy the eligibility conditions for admission at the time of joining.
Ph.D Part time(Internal):A Teacher working in the Department of this University or in an affiliated College of this University.A teacher working in Higher Secondary School or High School or Polytechnic with three years of experience within the territorial jurisdiction of the University.A candidate employed, other than a teacher, in a permanent job, within the territorial jurisdiction of the University with a minimum of four years working experience.
Ph.D Part time( External): candidates possessing any one of the qualifications prescribed by the Periyar University under section of the Regulation, and employed as a teacher, scientist or in any other related capacity in National/State level Institutions and Universities, outside the territorial jurisdiction of this University, and who are sponsored by the respective organizations
