Are there any entrance examinations for MBA/MCA to study in Government colleges?- 23-Jun-2009

Yes, announcement has already come. Anna University conducts this examination. Depending upon the marks that you have obtained in the entrance Examinations, you can avail seat in MBA/MCA/MTech/M.Arch in Government Arts & Science Colleges and Engineering Colleges. Some of the Private Universities and Self- Financing colleges also accept this examination. At present, the final year students can also apply for the appropriate course. The examinations will be held on May 17 or 18.

TANCET examinations are organized by Anna University, Chennai, Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, Thiagarajar Engineering College, Madurai, Government Engineering College, Salem, Bishop Heber College, Trichy, Government Engineering College, Tirunelveli and Thanthai Periyar Institute of Technology, Vellore. Online Registration can be done in the website www.annauniv.edu/tancet 2008. Pay Rs.300/-and receive application form from the above mentioned Colleges. Send a DD for Rs.350/ and get the application form by post from the Anna University.
