India alone in the entire world has the most number of UK Visa centers. In fact, totally there are 18 visa centers in India. Recently, high priority visa processing centers had also been opened in Bangalore and Pune. Apart from this, high priority visa processing center are already functioning in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai. 

Those applying for visa, generally get it in 5 days time. However, those applying through high priority plan can get their visa processed in 24 hours.

Students can rightly utilize these visa processing plan.     

Scholarship:
The British government along with British council provide scholarship of 5 million pounds for foreign students towards pursing UG or PG studies in UK through several schemes.    Apart from this, UK educational institutions directly provide 13 million pounds as scholarship for eligible students. All these schemes are offered to attract good and eligible candidates pursue education in UK.

As for as India is concern, 162 students got scholarships to study in UK in the last 2 years alone to pursue in STEM- Science , Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  Among this, 62 south Indian  students got scholarships that is about 38 per cent to study in UK. 

In this academic year 29 students across the nation got GREAT scholarship. Out of this, 11 students are from south India.  

Further more, Indian students can apply for schemes like  Commonwealth Scholarship, Hornby Scholarship  and Sir Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarship.

How to apply:
  To pursue higher education in UK, its good for students to apply through Universities & Colleges Admission Services (UCAS). Through this service, students can apply for course of their choice among 52, 000 courses offered though 395 recognized education institutions in UK.

British Council: In an effort to provide needed information to students about education in UK, the British council conducts educational fair like Study UK. The councill conducts English language training to all age group. Above all, it also provides training to take up IELTS, a mandatory eligibility test recognized by several education institutions across the globe to pursue studies or to take up jobs.
