The Food Scientists invent techniques to collect and preserve food as per government norms. The students in M.SC learn the process of packing, technology on grains, pulses, oil seeds, fruits, vegetables, techniques related to meat products, food microbes, calculation of calories, quality control and safety of food products.
The course enables the students to work in any big food generating industry.

The students who have completed B.SC., Chemistry and Biochemistry, or Agriculture, Engineering and Technology can join this course; but they must have studied mathematics either in Plus 2 or in the Degree course.
