Admission to Ph.D at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University-
Applications are invited for the admission to Ph.D through entrance Examination at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University
Candidates with fellowship/scholarship in UGC- NET/UGCCSIR NET/ GATE/ CEED/SET qualifications are exempted from Qualifying Entrance Examination.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed Masters Degree through Open University system are not eligible, Candidates who have secured their Masters Degree and M.Phil. with 55% or its equivalent grade of marks (relaxation of 5% ofmarks to SC/ST/OBC (non creamy layer)/differently abled under (10+2)+3+2 pattern of courses of study shall be eligible for Ph.D. programme. The candidates who appeared and passed the Qualifying Entrance Examination in July 2022, July 2023 session need not appear for entrance examination in January 2024 session. However they should have to register for Interview/Counselling for admission. Their entrance mark 70% and PG mark 30% will be taken for ranking and merit list.
