IGNOU to offer special course for BPO jobs-
Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will soon introduce this course to enable pupil to join BPO Sectors. This is a one year Diploma course introduced as a joint venture with Accenture, Bangalore. Those who have completed plus 2 can join this course. MOU concerning this has already been signed. There are outsourcing activities of foreign countries in India. The Indian companies also will soon begin these activities. This area wants persons to carry on the work. Hence to increase the manpower this study is introduced.
IGNOU has specifically stated that they need only persons with good communication skills. In the beginning only Diploma courses in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Human Resources, Category Management and Sourcing, Capital market, Customer contact service, Health care management, Pharmacy, Engineering, Equity Order Research Management and Technical writing will be offered. This study will be presented through various media of education, like Internet, books, CDs and regular classes
