Padmini - (District 2nd rank in plus two exams) - 2010-
Padmini, a student Agarwal Vidhyala, Vepery. Scoring 1,177, she secured second rank in Chennai district in the recent plus two exams. She obtained 187 in Tamil, 192-English, Commerce-200, Accountancy- 200, Mathematics- 200 and 198 in Economics.
Talking about this achievement Padmini told, "Doing self study, without keeping tuition can help to get good marks. Everyday, I used to study from early morning 4:00 AM. During examination time, every day, I would study for 7 hours. As soon as I joined plus two, I stopped watching television. Teachers and parents were of great help towards my studies. Though, my parents have not studied much, they took special interest on me to do well in exams. It is possible to score good marks, if we study with understanding" told Padmini.
